Health Requirements:

All visitors must get anti-malaria medication - depending on the
regulations from the country of origin, consult your
pharmacist or doctor about malaria prophylaxis. In addition,
please bring along insect repellents and use them you are out.
It is not necessary to bring a mosquito net as most lodges or
hotels have these in the rooms.
• Immunisation against hepatitis A and B and tetanus is
recommended. Other countries require a vaccination certificate,
also known as the yellow book which can be obtained from
designated centers in most parts of africa.
• Visitors from or passing through a cholera zone must be able
to produce a valid certificate of immunisation. Air travellers
who only pass through the airports of such a zone need not worry
about this
Clothing:
Most parts of Africa are very hot, with with most parts
averaging 27° C. It is therefore advisable
to pack lightweight clothing. Dull and natural colours
such as green, khaki and brown are advisable.
Wherever possible avoid bright screaming colours, black and
combatant clothing for day time activities.
The following are a few recommended clothing: 3-5 trousers
(Casual e.g. safari trousers, jeans, A hat
and/or cap long
sleeved shirts (protect you from the sun and mosquitoes) T-shirts Shorts or a light skirt Sweater or fleece Heavy jacket for game drives (especially during the winter
