Livingstone Island

 located in the middle of the Zambezi River, touching the lip of the Victoria Falls, where the water thunders down the 103m drop. Livingstone Island was opened in 1995 to provide exclusive and unique picnics on the edge of the Victoria Falls It caters for Lodges and Hotels around the Victoria Falls area both on the Zambian and the Zimbabwean sides.

Livingstone Island, being part of the Victoria Falls that is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a world heritage site, plus its geological location makes it a very unique picnic spot.

Access to this unique Island is seasonal and depends entirely on the water level in the Zambezi River.

Island Safaris

Due to the unique nature of the Island only 10 (12) guests may visit and enjoy a choice of five island safaris, restricting this exclusive island to only 60 visitors per day. For those who can afford this 5 star product, highly recommend advanced reservations.
